Ngati Tuwharetoa/Ngapuhi Artist, born in Wellington, NZ and raised across the North Island; Ārama studied Graphic Design and Fine Art at Northland Polytechnic (Northtec) and Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec).

During the Covid epidemic, Ārama created and opened Toi print studio, a capture and fine art print studio that supported maori artists to reprint, sell and promote their artwork.

Ārama currently resides in Qld, Australia.
